Leadership Team

Michael A. Seton is President and Chief Executive Officer of Sila Realty Trust, Inc. and a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Seton is a member of the Investment Committee and is responsible for the strategic vision and all day-to-day investment and operating activities of the company. Mr. Seton has approximately 30 years of real estate investment and financial experience; and has been directly involved in billions of dollars in real estate acquisitions and financings. Under Mr. Seton’s leadership since founding the company in 2014, the company’s assets have grown to over $2 billion of diversified healthcare properties throughout the United States. Mr. Seton previously worked for Eurohypo AG (now part of Commerzbank AG) as a Managing Director and Division Head in the Originations Group and began his career in the Public Finance and Real Estate Departments at The Sumitomo Bank, Ltd. Mr. Seton received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Vanderbilt University.

Kay C. Neely is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sila Realty Trust, Inc. Ms. Neely is a member of the Investment Committee and is responsible for the oversight of the financial operations of the company, including capital markets, accounting and financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, and investor relations, as well as the oversight of research and credit, human capital, and information technology. Ms. Neely joined the company in January of 2016, and brings approximately 25 years of real estate accounting and operations experience. Ms. Neely started her career with KPMG LLP, where she was responsible for various functions within the audit practice, including the planning and oversight of audit engagements for public and private entities, primarily in the real estate sector, including real estate investment trusts and investment funds. In addition, she managed the daily operations, performance management, and financial planning for audit practices in 10 offices located in the Southeast and Puerto Rico. Ms. Neely graduated as a member of Beta Gamma Sigma from Emory University Goizueta Business School in Atlanta, Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration with concentrations in accounting and finance. She holds a current Certified Public Accountant license in the state of Georgia.

Miles F. Callahan is the Senior Vice President of Capital Markets and Investor Relations at Sila Realty Trust, Inc. Mr. Callahan is a member of the Investment Committee and is responsible for the execution of the capital markets, investor relations, financial planning and analysis, research and credit, and marketing functions. Mr. Callahan joined the company in September 2013 and has worked in other capacities, including as a financial analysist in acquisitions underwriting and as a member of the due diligence and closing team. Mr. Callahan brings more than 15 years of experience in real estate finance, underwriting, and banking. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Callahan was with U.S. Bank on its construction lending team, managing both commercial and residential development. Mr. Callahan received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance from Auburn University.

Samuel W. Brannan is the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Sila Realty Trust, Inc. Mr. Brannan is responsible for the execution of the company’s financial reporting, accounting, and tax functions. Mr. Brannan joined the company in July 2024, bringing approximately 12 years of experience in both public and corporate accounting. Mr. Brannan began his career with PwC in the audit practice providing assurance services to financial services clients. In 2016, Mr. Brannan transitioned to Blackstone where he was responsible for the financial reporting and accounting for a publicly traded mortgage real estate investment trust. Mr. Brannan received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Accountancy from Wake Forest University. He holds a current Certified Public Accountant license in the state of New York.

Jason R. Klein is the Senior Vice President of Investment Management at Sila Realty Trust, Inc. Mr. Klein is responsible for the execution of the company’s investment management and lease administration functions. He joined the company in 2025 with over 20 years of experience in healthcare real estate, including running real estate portfolios for large healthcare systems both internally and as a consultant. Before joining the company, Mr. Klein was the head of Corporate Real Estate for Adventist HealthCare, Inc. where he provided oversight of the transactional, lease administration, property management, and development teams. Prior to this role, he spent 15 years as a strategic real estate consultant for multiple healthcare systems nationwide. Mr. Klein received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
